If you have any unwanted school uniform that will fit Nursery and Reception please could you drop it off at school and ask that it could be forwarded to Vikki Whitby (Assistant Head teacher and Phase Leader for EYFS). Any help would be very gratefully received. Thank you very much.

Nursery had such a fantastic time, and there were so many, excellent photos to share, and so many parents and carers have been asking to see even more photos, and the Nursery staff have been working so hard to share the photos, and…
So, we added a load more to the school’s blog where you can add your own comments and help your children to add their comments too!
Here are the photos! Hold on to your hats: there are quite a few!

On Wednesday 10th and Thursday 11th June 2015 our Nursery children went on a trip to Marsh Farm Country Park in South Woodham Ferrers. This was an opportunity for the children to enhance their knowledge of farm animals and see them up close. The children were lucky enough to feed many of the animals including pigs, chickens and goats!
We also took part in a tractor ride which took the children on a short trip out of the farm and into the country park. The children and adults enjoyed this very much – even if it was a little on the bumpy side!
After petting the animals we continued to have fun playing on the inflatables and in the park. It was a long and busy day and the children (and adults) were extremely tired, but all enjoyed the visit very much!
The children were a credit to the school and behaved impeccably. Well done, Nursery!
London Ambulance came to visit us on both sites on Thursday 12th March in the afternoon. Some of the morning children came back to join us so that they could see the ambulance too. Three paramedics came into the nursery and answered some questions we had thought of before they got there. We then went outside to see the ambulance and watched the lights turn on as well as listening to the sirens. The children were allowed to go inside the ambulance to see what was inside.
The paramedics were so impressed by the excellent behaviour and involvement of the children that they wrote a letter congratulating the children and the school. Well done, Ripple Nursery: you should feel very proud of yourselves for working so hard and being a huge credit to the school.
